For candidates:

Christina Greenberg

Christina Greenberg

Co-Founder and Managing Partner (she/her/hers)

“My family story illustrates that access to education for one generation leads to financial stability and prosperity for all those who follow. Living in Oakland, I see daily the inequities of how power, wealth and privilege are distributed and the stark realities of the devastating impacts of systemic racism for Black and Brown children and their families. This is what motivates me every day to work for equity, inclusion and justice.”

  • Before launching Edgility, Christina owned and ran Redwood Circle Consulting, a recruitment and talent management firm, for five years.
  • Christina has spent 17 years as a recruiter – starting with recruiting and placing teachers (at RISE) and principals (at New Leaders) and then for the past ten years, leading searches for professionals serving in a range of executive leadership roles in education, youth development and social justice organizations.
  • She holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA.

Christina lives in Oakland, CA, and is an active volunteer in her community including serving on multiple nonprofit charter school boards and supporting a number of strategic initiatives for her synagogue community. When she is not cheering for her kids on the sidelines of a soccer field, basketball court, outdoor track or in the audience of a theatre performance, Christina loves hiking and running with her dog in the local redwood forest, cooking and eating great food, catching up on the latest political news or consuming one of her many favorite podcasts.

Put your values to work. Act on equity.

We believe equity isn’t a box to check. It’s a daily action. Someone’s unique identity isn’t something to overcome–when paired with the right opportunity, it becomes one of their greatest professional assets. We exist to empower social impact organizations to recognize and overcome unconscious bias, racism and sexism so they can build a workforce that reflects and strengthens the communities they serve.
