“My interest in doing this work at Edgility sparked while planning and carrying-out design thinking projects as a middle school lead science teacher. I acknowledged my desire to help create solutions for inequalities beyond a classroom setting. I believe it is my job to turn my empathy into responsibility to create positive change for all.”

• Before joining Edgility, Danielle taught Middle School Science for 7 years, as well as serving as the expanded impact lead science teacher for her professional learning community in Title 1 schools.
• Danielle was inspired to join education through her work as a developmental therapy technician within the community and the classroom setting.
• She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from UNC-Charlotte with a minor in Public Health.

Danielle lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her fur baby dog, Benny who loves to cuddle. Danielle loves to travel, spend time outdoors and cross training. She also enjoys game nights and exploring restaurants with friends.
