“I was privileged to attend some exceptional schools as a child, but the first time I attended a school for more than two and a half years was in college. This experience, paired with moving to new communities, made me a student of school design and educational access from a young age and led me to a career dedicated to providing equitable and engaging educational choices for all students, families and communities.”
- Before joining Edgility, Hadley co-designed, launched and led Steward Outdoor School, the first semester school for middle school students, giving students from all backgrounds the unique opportunity to live away from home and experience hands-on, thematic learning and outdoor adventure for a semester.
- As the Director of Outreach on Team Recruit at Achievement First, she designed the network’s first comprehensive strategic outreach plan to build a talent pool (average 15 applications per seat per region) for long term and immediate staffing needs (500+ seats annually) at thirty urban K-12 charter schools.
- Hadley holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Teaching from Sierra Nevada University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Art from Pitzer College.
Hadley lives in Connecticut with her husband and daughter, who see life as an adventure, just as she does.
