John Calloway Jr is a Senior Talent Equity Consultant with Edgility Consulting, where he utilizes his deep experience in human resources and organizational operations to help organizations reach their full potential. Originally from Vineland, NJ, John calls Charleston, SC home. As a first-generation college graduate, he has seen the power of persistence and support. Those experiences shaped his passion for helping others reach their potential. Whether it is building equitable workplaces, strengthening HR functions, or creating strategies that help employees and businesses succeed, that passion drives everything he does. 

Before joining Edgility, John worked in HR and operations at Trulieve and Walmart, where his work positively impacted thousands of employees across the corporate, retail, and manufacturing sectors. John’s passion for improving organizational efficiency through strategy-driven consulting in HR, DEIB, and operations led him to found Calloway Venture & Associates.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Baylor University. Outside of work, he loves exploring new places, discovering unique restaurants, and sharing laughs with friends. Whether he is diving into new experiences or working on professional growth, he stays energized by connecting with others and finding fresh ways to keep life exciting.
