Ila Shah Promoted to Associate Partner

Edgility is pleased to announce the promotion of Ila Shah to Associate Partner!

Ila started at Edgility on the Search Team, but quickly found a passion for helping organizations create transparent compensation programs and transitioned to helping start our Talent Equity Consulting Team.  Get to know Ila and what she loves about working at Edgility below.

What are you most excited to accomplish in your new role?

The opportunity to continue to grow and develop our people and also to build and innovate on our current TEC offerings.  Finally, I am thrilled to be able to support/lead our efforts to codify and streamline our existing services.

What are 2-3 biggest lessons you’ve learned on your journey to becoming a leader at Edgility?

1) Leading with empathy and listening to the diversity of perspectives on our staff team is a gift and only makes us better and stronger.

2) We are a mission-led company, and as a leader, flexibility, nimbleness and the ability to work in gray spaces is critical to our success.

How do you hope to advance equity in your new role?

Clear and consistent practices around everything related to growth/development; culture; recognition and pay for all staff.

What are a few things you love about the communities you serve?

The people and their deep passion and dedication for the work they do and the communities they serve.
