Associate Partner (he/siya)

“I am a child of Filipino immigrants. The only one of seven born in America, I was born and raised in NYC. My family lived and interacted with all kinds of peoples and cultures growing up. Through my family, I learned that in order to build authentic relationships you had to listen, ask good questions, find commonalities, to share stories, and most of all, to be intentionally curious. As a Principal at Edgility Consulting, I bring that innate curiosity and authentic relationship-building to our clients and candidates. Placing antiracist leaders who will have an impact on our clients’ organizations gives me great joy.”

  • Before joining Edgility, Ron had his own executive search practice for 4 and half years, recruiting and selecting hundreds of candidates to become education and nonprofit leaders.
  • Ron worked at New Leaders for seven years and was promoted four times to eventually lead the design and implementation of the Aspiring Principals Program admissions process nationally.
  • Ron has a Bachelor’s degree in neural science from New York University. He is also an active member of the NYU alumni community for over 20 years, currently serving as an Officer Emeritus of the NYU Alumni Association.

Ron loves spending time with his wife Shanita and his daughters Sofia and Ava, whether it’s watching reality TV, going to the park, singing karaoke, or devouring our favorite movies and shows.. He’s also hyper-focused on his health and wellness, whether it’s kettlebell training, meditating, or practicing yoga. A native New Yorker, he’s a rabid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.

Put your values to work. Act on equity.

We believe equity isn’t a box to check. It’s a daily action. Someone’s unique identity isn’t something to overcome–when paired with the right opportunity, it becomes one of their greatest professional assets. We exist to empower social impact organizations to recognize and overcome unconscious bias, racism and sexism so they can build a workforce that reflects and strengthens the communities they serve.
