“My dad was from India, and my mom is from Norway. I am a first-generation college graduate, thanks to my parents’ belief in me and great K-12 public school teachers. It was in college that I learned about America’s inequitable educational systems. Why do some children attend schools and benefit from systems that maximize their potential, and others get left behind? As a result, I have spent my career focused on changing that reality. Unfortunately, unjust practices and structures aren’t isolated to education. I am honored to be part of Edgility and the work to create equity and inclusion within organizations.”
