“I was drawn to this work because growing up in Bronx, NY I learned at an early age to be my mother’s advocate and  translator and to assist her with navigating human services, housing, community, and  education systems.  I realized that I was representing my family and needed to be strong to make sure our needs were met in systems that were difficult to navigate particularly for people of color at that time.  My mother encouraged us to pursue higher education so we can obtain a solid career, become  financially independent, and not depend on anyone.  I’m grateful for my mother’s endless support and tenacity.   She’s proud to have three professionals working in the government, technology, and HR/consulting sectors and thriving in their careers and personal lives.  With these humble beginnings, I’m driven to make a difference in our communities and the next generation by actively participating in closing the equity gap so that their dreams can come true, too.”

  • Madeline has extensive Human Resources experience and managing compensation programs for mid to top-tier organizations like Nielsen, Itochu, Mastercard and JPMorganChase.  Madeline leverages her broad experience in HR to strategically consult and advise HR Business Partners and stakeholders to meet their compensation needs while making an impact to attract and retain top talent.  Prior to joining Edgility, Madeline consulted and worked with senior HR leaders at Univision, S&P Global,  and ADP on Job Architecture Projects, implementation of a compensation cloud tool, annual review process, and enhancements to ADP Benchmarking tool.
  • As Compensation Manager at Itochu International, Madeline was a key contributor in the development and implementation of the career framework.  She streamlined job titles and levels to create a career journey linked to pay and career development to increase internal mobility and attract new talent while retaining and rewarding talent.
  • Madeline holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University and Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management from Pace University.

Madeline loves spending time with her family, taking nature walks, cooking, and dancing. She is enthusiastic about coaching young professionals and women in career transition to find their next opportunity.  Madeline is also a mentor in the New York City SHRM Mentoring Program while serving as Board Member/Chair of Total Rewards Special Interest Group.

Put your values to work. Act on equity.

We believe equity isn’t a box to check. It’s a daily action. Someone’s unique identity isn’t something to overcome–when paired with the right opportunity, it becomes one of their greatest professional assets. We exist to empower social impact organizations to recognize and overcome unconscious bias, racism and sexism so they can build a workforce that reflects and strengthens the communities they serve.
