ACE Charter Schools, Chief Executive Officer

ACE Charter Schools’ founding CEO is stepping down from his role in the summer of 2022. The board, staff and community of ACE are seeking a seasoned executive who has a belief and passion for the ACE mission, possesses strong organizational leadership skills, is an excellent and inspirational communicator, is steeped in cultural competency, and has an exceptional level of team management skills and experience coaching managers. ACE’s CEO will ensure that ACE’s academic program, operations, financial management, community engagement, fundraising, and relationships with key partners (district authorizers, donors, other entities) are strong and tightly aligned with the organization’s strategic plan and core priorities.

Aspire Public Schools, Bay Area Executive Director
OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Bay Area Executive Director has overall responsibility for the performance of all nine Aspire schools in the region. This includes: strategic leadership; academic and programmatic excellence inclusive of social-emotional learning; diversity, equity, and inclusion; authorizer and community partnerships; talent development, and operational and fiscal health. Together, these nine schools serve just over 4,400 scholars in grades TK-12, served by nearly 550 dedicated staff. The Bay Area Region represents a diverse community of learners that consists of 90% FRL recipients, 28% multi-language learners, and 91% Latinx and Black across three cities – Oakland, Richmond, and East Palo Alto.

Democracy Prep Public Schools, Executive Director Las Vegas
OPPORTUNITY
The Executive Director (ED) will be the senior executive of the region and will be charged by Democracy Prep Public Schools (DPPS) and the Board of Trustees with leading the establishment of Democracy Prep Schools to achieve breakthrough results for families and scholars in Las Vegas, NV. The ED is responsible for the overall health of the school as outlined by our charter and in service of our mission. The ED’s call to action is threefold:
- Fully understand their local context, and use this understanding to apply and adapt the Democracy Prep model to best serve the needs of the region.
- Reinforce the network’s overall instructional and operational priorities.
- Ensure our scholars are provided a rigorous, safe, and structured learning environment.
Salary: $125,000-150,000

Envision Education, Chief Executive Officer
OPPORTUNITY
Envision Education seeks an anti-racist, pro-Black visionary leader who can lead Envision Education’s work with Envision Schools and Envision Learning Partners. This is a unique opportunity to champion their anti-racist, pro-Black stance internally and externally while leveraging their local work in schools in the Bay Area and their national model of supporting educators to utilize high-quality performance assessments in their schools. The next CEO of Envision Education will be a leader who can bring innovation to American public education and ensure equity and excellence on a national scale. The impact of the next CEO will be to create the conditions for students, particularly Black and Latinx students aspiring to be the first generation to attend college, to thrive now and in the future.

Holy Family Day Home, Principal
OPPORTUNITY
The Head of School oversees and directs the planning, organizing, and implementation of education services for children and families. These services contribute to the increased social competence in children and the recognition and enhancement of parents as the primary educators of their children. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Head of School will be responsible for supporting and engaging education staff, in individual and small group formats, by building their capacity to promote school readiness of children in their classrooms. They will be responsible for the day-to-day programming requirements of the school in partnership with the Program Director, Community Health and Wellness Director, Curriculum Manager and Admissions Manager.

The Primary School, Upper Elementary/Middle School Principal
OPPORTUNITY
The Primary School is hiring an Upper Elementary/Middle School Principal to work alongside the current school administration team to help lead their flagship East Palo Alto site. As they grow their current school-aged student body, TPS is looking for a team member to support their oldest students, currently in 4th grade, into and through middle school.
