Seeking a leader to develop young, global citizens

Candidate brings years of charter school experience to Francophone
Kennedy Hilario has held senior leadership roles in charter schools in four urban cities in California, including Inglewood, Lawndale, East Los Angeles, and San Fernando Valley. In Massachusetts, he helped grow a charter network from one to three schools and helped manage the turnaround of a district school. Before joining the charter movement, Kennedy taught 3rd through 6th grade at the private school that he and his wife operated. He continues to serve on the board of Environmental Charter Schools. A lifelong learner, Kennedy has a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida, a B.S. in psychology from Biola University, an M.Ed. from Fielding Graduate University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
“It was important that we find someone with a deep cross-cultural understanding and vision for how to bring this real-life knowledge into the classroom in a way that’s enriching for our kids. Kennedy’s background and years of experience working with charter schools is exactly what we need to help amplify our mission. We’re thankful to Edgility for partnering with us in our very specific Executive Director search,” says Annette Dennett, Chair of the Board for Francophone.
